Sehr gelungene Inszenierung in einer einzigartigen Location

"Inszenierung klassisch, was diesem Musical aus dem 18. Jahrhundert entgegenkommt. Tolle Interpreten, auch wenn Papagena etwas leise vorkam. Kartenreservierung problemlos."

"Die Zauberflöte wurde durchgehend in Deutsch aufgeführt! Trotzdem ging das amerikanische Publikum begeistert mit. Die Sänger waren allesamt erstklassig, der Papageno als Kerntener mit östereichischem Charme eine herausragende komödiante Besetzung. Pape als Sarastro einfach traumhaft sanft. Die gesamte Aufführung war überaus gelungen, der japanische Kostümstyle kam mir sehr entgegen. Bei der Abholung der Karten gab es eine kleine Komplikation. Man fand sie nicht. Ich rief den auf dem Voucher angegeben New Yorker Agenten der "Newyorkmusicalkarten.de" an (Bitte bei Handy 001 vorwählen). Noch während des Gespräches fanden sich die Karten doch noch an. Offensichtlich ein Problem der Met. Bei der ebenfalls hier online gebuchten "Cabaret" Aufführung lagen die Karten griffbereit. Also: Bei der Met lieber etwas früher die Karten abholen."
